Arguably the best in the world...... The Russian artisans in Perm created this beautiful RAV VAST Pan Drum in the scale of D Hijaz. Excellent build quality that stays in tune. (Video Link below) This is a 2021 manufacture that I imported from the RAV VAST artisans in Perm, Russia. Of course, I had to pay plenty of taxes and fees and charges (and DHL international shipping!) BUT at least I know that I bought a genuine RAV VAST Pan Drum. It's in excellent (virtually new) condition and comes with a padded hard shell case... (back pack style).... AND I have the RAV Passport paperwork indicating authenticity. RAV Vast make some of the finest pan drums on the planet and the scale of D Hijaz is really cool and mysterious sounding. Described as a middle eastern sound, think Arabic / Jewish / Gypsy. Extremely well made, Rav Vast make musical instruments with a lovely warm tone and have a quality sound. We're in the Helensburgh/ Stanwell Tops area on the Illawarra coast, NSW.
