I have two D Kurd handpans and I have reluctantly decided to sell one, my beautiful Veritas D Kurd (9 + 1) handpan, made by Josh Rivera for me in 2020. It is nitrided steel, and has a wonderful tone with exceptional sound qualities, and some great percussive sounds too. The handpan has been meticulously maintained and has been tuned annually by TimTom from Celestial Sound or by Josh Rivera. TimTom last tuned this instrument in February 2025. It comes with a Veritas handpan case and can be posted in a secure box. I will be playing this instrument at PanOz Festival (near Apollo Bay, Victoria) in April.
