In the final stage of grinding and polishing the rim, I slipped and unfortunately scuffed the edge of the top shell (see images). The customer opted for a new instrument so this one is up for FLASH sale. This scuff will not impact the instrument at all, it is purely aesthetic. The scuffed area will potentially be prone to rust due to removal of the outer nitrated surface. However consider that the polished rim is far more susceptible to rust as its been cut and polished and is MUCH deeper than the scuff, so the instrument in its entirety will not be any more susceptible to rust with this scuff.
